Get to know me

I’m Heather Daly, a licensed pediatric occupational therapist with over 6 years of experience in OT and more than 10 years working directly with children and families. My clinical journey has taken me through many settings, including home health, teletherapy, sensory clinics, and therapeutic preschools. I have had the privilege of working with children across a wide spectrum of abilities, from those with developmental delays to typically developing children, always aiming to enhance function and connection for every family.

My primary passion is helping children build self-regulation skills to improve attention and reduce behavioral difficulties. I believe this foundation is crucial for acquiring all other skills. I have advanced training in meditation, breath practice, and mindfulness for stress reduction in families and behavior improvements in children. My mission is to bring more peace to each household through co-regulation, or shared calm, with families. I've learned that the parent-therapist relationship is key to optimal results, as parents spend the most time with their children and are truly the expert.

My goal is to enhance the quality of time you spend with your child and support your child's independence in life skills. Our sessions, communication, and activities are designed to foster moments of connection and positive memory-building between you and your child, while also making developmental gains that will impact your child for a lifetime. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, doing yoga, and being out in nature in a small town just outside of Austin, TX.
