Get to know me

As a licensed occupational therapy practitioner, I bring over 16 years of diverse pediatric-based experience across various geographical regions. My expertise encompasses a wide spectrum of pediatric practice settings, including acute hospital, NICU, school-based, early intervention, and home-based services. Central to my practice is the recognition of the crucial role that mental health plays in the lives of children and their families/caregivers.

I firmly believe in the power of collaboration between OT and families, understanding that parents are the foremost experts on their children. In my approach, I serve as a guide, recognizing that the best outcomes emerge when families and therapists work together. My mantra is "client-driven, therapist-directed," emphasizing a partnership where you and your child are the primary drivers of the journey, with my guidance and support.

Beyond my professional role at Kinspire, I also serve as a professor within an OT program, balancing my career with my roles as a wife and a mother of five, along with several furry friends. In my leisure time, I indulge in fiber crafts such as crochet and sewing.

I hold a deep belief in the boundless possibilities that lie within you and your child. It is a privilege to be a part of your journey, and I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to work alongside you as we navigate towards growth and success.

Outside of my professional and clinical work, I love to engage in fiber crafting, including sewing and crochet. I find joy in working with my hands and creating something tangible and beautiful. Additionally, I enjoy working in my yard and engaging in yoga when I'm able.
